Starting with Floor Plans
Having a set of color floor plans can be very helpful for buyers to hold onto and review after a day of house hunting.
But, not all floor plans are created equal… and I found a company that puts together designs that give a different perspective.
Let’s compare standard vs. my color version:

Although a color floor plan may not be the thing that sells your home, it is a valuable tool that many home builders are using to market their homes.
See what I mean? Doesn’t the color floor plan stand out and actually help you visualize the home?
3-D Tours
Some homes are perfect for 3-D tours where consumers can tour a house before setting foot inside the front door.
I originally found this technology being used by an agent in Orange County, California, and then I saw it being offered by a local vendor and jumped at the chance to start using it.
The essence of my strategy here is to introduce customers to your house, peak their interest so they call their agent or me to see inside in person.
Sales tools
The floor plan and 3D tour are tools that I use to attract potential home buyers. Research from the National Association of Realtors shows that consumers research for two months before starting the process of contacting an agent or looking at homes at an Open House.
The difficult part for any digital marketer is understanding where the consumer is in the sales process when they stumble across a house for sale. The strategy is to get them to accelerate their decision making process.
So, these sales tools are designed to be easy to use, and carefully persuade the online consumer to take action.
