DocuSign allows my clients to easily sign legal documents anywhere they might be using a computer or smart phone.
You will sign documents on a secure, cloud-based digital signature platform. There isn’t any software to download, there is no printing or faxing, and you will know you have completed the job because it will say “completed!”
I’ll tell clients it is as easy as 1-2-3…
I started to use DocuSign a few years ago when a client was selling his home in Vienna and had already moved to Austin. Nervous like most first-time users, I really wasn’t sure if he would find it easy to use or if it would even work as promised.
But when he called to tell me, “it’s easier signing stuff with you than with my agent here who wants me to fax…” then I knew DocuSign was a must-have tool.
I have a paid account so you don’t need to sign up, just confirm in the email that you are the proper addressee.
Many of my clients are across the country, and DocuSign allows them to respond quickly which is important when negotiating an offer on your house.
And for homes where there are a few signers, such as multiple heirs to the family home, using DocuSign ensures that everyone has received, seen or signed the paperwork.
