Today was a busy one along Maple Avenue (Route 123) in Vienna VA as cars were pulling out of parking lots with Christmas trees tied to their roofs heading home. It is a tough business to be in these days as long-standing community groups have stands set up as fund raisers.
- Lions Club – The Vienna Lions Club has a stand set up in the big parking lot in front of the Walgreens Store @ 225 Maple Ave East.
- Optimist Club – The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna has their stand in front of the PNC Bank @ 353 Maple Avenue East
Stalcup Hardware – (Store Closed 2012) You can’t miss their red pick-up truck and tractor parked in front of the store @ 229 Maple Avenue East. Benefits VYI Sports.orry but Stalcup Hardware is no longer in business.- Marshall High School – The Annual GCM Boosters’ Tree Sale opens 11/24 thru 12/16.
