Located 11 miles outside Washington, DC, the Town of Vienna, Virginia is where I have lived for the past 25 years (time flies).
Here is a brief summary of the community you will find here…
The Town of Vienna has it’s own elected Mayor and Town Council. The Town Manager is responsible for budgets and daily operations. There is a Public Works Department, Police Department, Volunteer Fire Department manned by professional Fairfax County Firefighters, a town hall, town green, annual (74th) Halloween Parade, a 4th of July Fireworks show and much more.
Located within Fairfax County, residents of the Town pay an additional property tax currently (2020) set at $0.225 per $100 of assessment on top of the $1.15 per $100 of assessment Fairfax County property tax.
The Town of Vienna covers 4.4 square miles, and has a population of approximately 15,000 and has managed to retain its small town feel compared to much of Northern Virginia.
In 2013, Money Magazine ranked Vienna as a top small town to live in!
The Town of Vienna encourages residents to walk, bike, and remain active.
The rebuilt Vienna Community Center is open featuring a new full-size gym addition and community activity rooms.
Vienna also has some excellent restaurants making it a regional foodie destination. Yeah, we like to eat!

Almost every weekend the Vienna Town Green has community events
