Coffee at Caffe Amouri

February 10, 2011 By Doug Francis

Coffee Roaster at Caffe Amouri Vienna VA

Coffee beans are roasted in the shop!

A couple of years ago a unique little coffee house popped up in Vienna that reminded me of a shop in Seattle where I had a cup of coffee one morning. It just has the right feel and I became a fan immediately. Maybe it is the album covers on the walls? Not sure, but Caffè Amouri just has the right, low key vibe.

Coffee | Espresso | Tea

It is Caffè Amouri on Church Street, just off the W&OD Bike Trail in the center of town.

When the builder was finishing up the place last year, I popped my head in to see the special coffee roaster which is built into the middle of the store. As it turns out, Michael Amouri decided that his shop was going to roast their beans “in house” so they have optimum flavor. Let’s just say he is totally into the process of delivering the best tasting coffee in Vienna! See the video below…

A customer appreciation program

This spring, Caffè Amouri is sponsoring Vienna Idol which is a fun community music competition raising money for a local charity. Contact michael@caffeamouri.com if you can volunteer your time and for more details.

Look for specials on their Facebook Fan Page — and read more about what type of coffee they are roasting or featuring. They also have locally made pastry if you want to snack on something while you are sipping your drink. You will find that this subtly cool, Seattle like coffee house becomes a regular stop.

This is the Vienna VA coffee house you have been looking for!

I found this video online which is a cool interview about the process…

Vienna real estate agent Doug Francis

Helping my clients add value to their homes has always been important to me. My step-by-step recommendations are intended to increase market appeal, return more than invested, and help net more when selling.

Beyond just sellers, I have helped many new homeowners make smart design decisions when remodeling. We gutted our house and totally remodeled it, and I pass that experience along because living in a nice house is simply better.

My background… I’ve been an active licensed agent in Virginia for 25 years, work at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty in McLean, and sell homes in all price ranges. I donate to the Town of Vienna tree replacement fund, participate in a neighborhood citizens association, and try my best to stay in shape.
